Artist Statement:

At its core, my work is an experiment in form and aesthetics, driven by trial, error, and play. As a scavenger and remixer, I am fascinated by what found materials—dust, waste, debris, junk, artifacts, natural objects, and more—can reveal about human values, perception, time, desire, and the intricate dance between the natural, cultural, and industrial worlds.

My process involves scavenging, photography, scanning, collage, digital manipulation, and generative AI. I embrace chance operations to foster the unexpected and promote multivalent interpretations. This approach incorporates a feedback loop where all outputs can be reincarnated as inputs, creating a perpetual cycle of creation and recreation that mirrors natural cycles of decay and renewal. Navigating states of ambiguity and contradiction, my work occupies the space between abstraction and representation. It embodies a tension and harmony between allure and enigma. I am drawn to images that are slick yet tactile, potentially grotesque, ones that linger in the retina and memory. I am always seeking this quality.
